Hi Leo fans! Yes it has been a while, and yes, Leo is still in foster care, waiting for his furever home, but here are two pictures for your viewing pleasure!

Another move for Leo

Leo has been moved to another foster home. He was not doing well in the day care environment, and is now living with the family who fostered another Pen Pal (Kev).

Update from Foster Care

Update from Leo's Foster Mom: Leo has had a lovely morning already! He ate breakfast, did some training reinforcement exercises (he's got the "down" DOWN!) and had a "walk" on leash around the facility. Several times. It's not a mile run or anything, but right now reinforcing good behavior is more important. He was excellent on leash, and I am very proud of him today!

Leo's foster mom posted an update last night. Leo is settling into foster care. He spends his days at the doggie day care, and goes home with an employee at night. Thank you both for fostering him!

OK, so we didn't actually get any pictures during the actual drive. But once we go to our destination, Megan snapped a few.

Leo completed his training and moved on to foster care

Leo was transported from his one-on-one training to his foster home today. Please don't forget Leo -- he still needs a forever home!

BEST. NEWS. EVER!

Hey Leo fans! We have amazing, fantastic, bestest news ever!

Leo will be leaving ACCT on Monday. His Pen Pals, Megan and I, will be transporting him to Perfect Pooch Doggie Day Care in King of Prussia, PA, where he will receive 10 days of training, after which, he will go into foster care.

So, please keep in mind that Leo still needs a forever home! We will update when we can on Leo's progress.

Updates

With all the snow that we've gotten (TWO seasons' worth in FIVE days!!), it's been a little tough to get down to the shelter. Megan went on Friday night. She did a little crate training with Leo, practiced his commands, and just let him chill out with a bone for a while.

Today, Leo met with a potential foster mom and her dog, Fred. But unfortunately, young Leo had a bit too much energy for the older pit mix to tolerate. We heard a rumor that the woman took home a different dog to foster, but we won't name names until we're certain of the dog that went into foster care.

Looks like another day at Central Bark tomorrow for Leo!
